Leavitt changes stance on I-5 bridge toll

Vancouver mayor-elect Tim Leavitt says he now supports tolls for a new I-5 bridge – just as long as local commuters don't foot the bill.

In a story by Erik Robinson of The Columbian, Leavitt was against tolling during his recent campaign against former mayor Royce Pollard.

He now says his version of a toll would make out-of-area truckers and tourists pay the portion that locals would have paid.
