• Born and raised in Vancouver, WA, USA.

• 25+ years as a TV Journalist in Portland.  (23 years at a station not to be named, and 2005-present at KATU!)
• Married, 
• Two kids in college (WSU and Linfield).

I have:

• Coached youth sports (basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis),
• Done stand-up comedy,
• Painted watercolor,
• Written a novel (unpublished),
• Bicycled in Washington, Oregon, Vermont, California wine country, and Maine. 
• Been to Portland, Maine,
• Broadcast play-by-play of high school and college sports,
• Golfed
• Used twitter
• Watched a game in all MLB stadiums in one month (1977),
• Played piano and guitar (long time ago)
• Been inducted in to Clark County Hall of Fame,
• Some other stuff

Never have, (and probably won't):

• Skydived
• Bungee-jumped
• Hang-glided
• Base-jumped
• Desired to fly with Blue Angels.
